Helping to save lives by informing and training the community about the Heart, CPR and Defibrillation

Nearly half of UK adults (43%) have never learned the skill of CPR. There are over 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests every year in the UK. Sadly, less than 10% of people survive. And with 80% of cardiac arrests happening outside of hospital it is most common that people administer CPR on a  loved one in the home.

The Mission of The Calderdale Community CPR Fund is to change these statistics and increase the survival rate of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests. We do this by partnering with businesses and organisations through a collaboration with Flat-Stan to provide CPR training and to provide life-saving Defibrillators.Â
